im looking to buy a electirc drums for practice and recording purposes, and mabey even a few gigs if any one has expeirance with simmons sd5k sd7k or sd9k ele drums lmk your review of them.

Well...see...Simmons used to be really cool in the 80's...They were pioneers of the technology, and known for making sturdy, wear resistant equipment....
Here recently...idk like 03 or something...It was right as I was graduating....Anyway, Guitar Center makes a really crappy version of your typical electric set and slaps a Simmons logo on it.
Its a shame really...GC thought they'd be able to use the sexy Simmons name to whore out shitty gear...it has worked...that is the shame :/

well i just bought the simmons sd7pk drums and a da200 amp im going to try theem out for recording and pratic and use my pearl for live gigs, if i dont like them ill just simply send them back in the 45 day money back trial. btw ill upload some drum covers and random p[ractice so if any one here decides they might want to give them a try

well i have my sd7pk kit and its great for practic and recording but as far as gigs i would prefer a acoustic set
