if you have any experience of being with a band how often did you get together with other members to just hang out or actually practice?

main question is how many days a week or month do you get together with your band members and practice?

reasons for asking is that my band members and i only get together once a week and dont even talk about getting together on the weekends and we normally cant even get to work with the few hours we have on the day we practice.

Well, it depends on a lot of things tbh. Everyone will tell you that inorder to be "good" you need to practice once every two or three days, and for a few hours each time. But unless you're performing, that's not really the case. As long as your members practice their instruments on their own, group practice is only needed as often as you feel it is. If you guys click well together, you could deal with twice a month.
If you need to hash something out, I'd say twice a week. Its all relative, imo.

Every weekend 1 day completely devoted to jaming/hanging out.

Personnally, we play once a week for about 4 hours, practicing and jamming a bit. That's pretty much all we can do; I have school on weekdays and my bandmates have kids and/or work that restrict our schedules.

We try to do once-twice a week.
It really just depends when everyone is free.

If members have work/school, then work around it.
If you perform or are wanting to go somewhere, you should practice as much as you possibly can.

The current band i'm in actually has other experienced musicians so we can do nearly everything on our own and when we do practice together, maybe once every week, things come together like we've been practicing together daily.

I met with my jazz band every day, but that was for school. My father's band meets about once a week, sometimes more.
