Me and dave havent took lessons we are both self taught and the other guitarist is kinda sloppy but idk if he took lessons or not.
We are getting better tho

I'm self-taught myself and I still don't see the point in using 3 guitarists.

Even then, if you really need 3 guitarists, have one that fills a spot for gigs and is not in the actual band really.
