so im a drummer, and i wana broaden my horizons and learn a second instrument


i think guitar would be the best choice as its fairly common and it will probably the best for me to learn about chords etc.



im talking to my parents about getting guitar lessons but i dono.

how did you guys learn the basics of guitar??

buy a guitar and start playing is the way.

Get a Nylon guitar first, so you dont hurt your fingers.

I think you should learn by your self... then you get more of the soul of music and playing.

well i have a rand electric guitar in my house, so im not gonna buy another one until i really get into it

I'm a fairly decent guitarist and i've never taken lessons.
Just practice playing about an hour a day and discover what sounds good.
Look up tabs n stuff too and learn a few riffs and chords.
