Cheap and good. It'll keep you set for a while.

This, rather. I think your other post said you like a little bit of everything. I had this amp when I started, and it suited everything.

that is a pretty serious guitar for a beginner, bro. I always recommend that people start out on acoustic to make sure that they actually enjoy playing before making the dive into electric which usually costs more cause of all the gear and stuff... Just my opinion though. Also.. acoustics are nice cause you can take it and play anywhere and jam out with your friends without worrying about plugging in or playing too loud or whatever...

Also I love taking fast paced metal or punk and doing my own acoustic covers of them... adds a nice little twist to the mixture... but I duno.. Just giving you a different perspective... PM me if you ever need some help picking out gear or looking for some good beginner songs =)

i disagree, if you are seriously committed DEFINATELY make a good investment, buying a garbage acoustic and then having to shell out more money for a decent guitar later is not worth it. Also i wouldn't recommend a dean or a V guitar as your first. A regular solid body will be more comfortable

I would never, ever, buy a Dean.

It's modeling, but they sound pretty darn good actually, and it's way better than Line 6.

I think the Cube sounds a bit better than the vypyr. Steer away from the VMNT, it looks pretty and its dave mustaines "sig" (not really its a shit version of it).
