YES they are good. The thing is, and this is why people complain about them, you have to play a LOT with the settings to find something acceptable. For live purposes and even recording they are really good tools at cheap price.

Absolute shit, no a fan of my POD at all. For recording it's nothing special,
but better then the shitty USB microphone that I had. But for live performances
don't waste your time and/or money.
