What's a good way to find musicians?

I'm in high school so that might help. The problem is, the people that play are usually people I don't know that well.

Edit: I can play multiple instruments.

Post flyers up at local music shops?

And while you're there stay for a few hours and meet/greet with people you see buying/playing instruments

You can also go to various local band concerts and ask around, alot of times budding musicians go to these local concerts.

And of course you could check something like craigslist but we all know the bad things about that site...

First decide what kind of music you want to make. You want a goal/objective. Secondly, it's important that your singer is at least good. The vocals are the main part of the band; it's what the audience listens to firstly.

Third, make sure the drummer is good enough to keep up whatever tempos you're going to use, and keep them up consistently. Consistency is the most important part about being a drummer.

Guitar players and bassists are everywhere, shouldn't be too hard to find one. Just go to a music shop/your school/local shows and leave flyers.
