Alright, I'm going to start upgrading my kit and I'm looking for the following:

Good cymbals for Progressive Metal / Technical Metal - I've heard that Sabian HHX/AAX/AA are good for this, just looking for opinions. i like AAX/HHX
A good longboard double pedal -axis longboard
A good hardware set - if i had the money id get dw 9000
And good heads - I've heard remo heads are the way to go no matter what, but which kind of remo? whoever told u this is an idiot

Any opinions would be appreciated.

remo isnt the best heads, try out aquarian, super kick II is the best bass drum head ever, and i like a lot hi energy 2 for the snare, cymbals i'd say you go for the hhx if u have the money, but aax are still good and more affordable, pearl hardware
