Where can I get one (Preferably a store I can go to) and buy an acoustic guitar to learn to play.
is it hard and also, what type of music do you guys think is best to be played as with the acoustic guitar.
I would like to hear some of jsp's work.

You can play a lot of songs with just a couple simple chords.

Listen to Nickelback for acoustic skills. Ignore the flames of the raged kids that troll, but from a guitarist point of view, they are great for Acoustic. It's rock, so it has some attitude to it, but it also has the delicate changes to alternate picking etc etc...

Look on eebay for an Encore acoustic. They are great! I've had mine now for 9 years and it still sounds as good as it did when I got it.

Tip - 2nd hand over new, ANY day.

yes. electro acoustic, non electro acoustic, self resonating etc, they are made of different types of wood, have different sound, brand is important, i would suggest for starting off to buy a classical and NOT acoustic, later u can switch for acoustic, coz acoustic is gonna fuk your fingers up. Strunal is a good brand at a good price.

How would it mess up my fingers?
What brands are there? Also, is there a store where I can buy guitars pretty cheap?
Can I get a range of prices too excluding eebay?

I think he means the Steel strings. But it wont "fuck up" your fingers. What will happen is that you will develop caluses much faster with steel strings.

I recommend you buying a guitar with nylon string. Much softer. And better for a beginner imo. STrunal guitars are not that expensive, sound better than yamaha. Or u can also pick rollins guitar.
