Sounds pretty good, i'm not real into the guitar tone its too screechy, wheres some mids, lows, bass, at, or even regular harmonics? You guys have very nice solo skills but why solo/ lead through the whole entire song? It starts to get to be to much when your playing up and down scales over and over. If you want a nice metal/ dark metal you have to give some down time to get the listeners into the mode and really wanted to get some headbangin and then sweep them off there feet.
You probably won't find my advice worth a shit because i wouldn't, but ya i would work on just taking some regular dark rythm parts and then adding some leads in then your solo and repeat.
I give him a 81/2 because he knows what hes doing, hes knows the scales/chords, has his own style, but also skipped a few notes and has a very screechy tone and plays alotta of scales up and down the neck.
