but i cant change the low e to a d in tuning because the string snapped last time and this time i feel its gonna snap
help?

Did you tune up to D or down to D?

How does tuning down to D snap your string? Unless you are failing majorly in guitar. But if you tried to tune up to d, then maybe you should just stick to standard tuning.

make sure ur not tuning up, instead of down lol, d is lower, it should get more loose, not tighter.
assuming ur going drop d for like metal stuff and such.

umm im tuning UP to d but its just too high idk how people do it maybe my guitar is stringed wrong

lol your supposed to tune down to D dude

i use that tuning all the time
its the same tuning as Black Summern White Mountain Top by Led Zepplin

tune down not up

i guarentee you 100% you dont tune up
and yes i use that tuning on my acoustic ALL THE TIME

i use it dude

you cant tune up that hi without breaking a string

especially the hi E string

The low E should also be tuned down. You only have to detune it by one full step to get to d, you would have to tune nearly an octave up to get to d. You will always snap a string trying to tune up to d.
