you shouldn't be thinking about how long it'll take you to become good. if you love to LEARN playing the guitar, you'll be gold with the guitar for the rest of your life.

you have a long way to go if you've only been playing a month

practice in the dark or with blindfold. helps muscle memory imo.

honestly, guitar learning is a matter of patience and alota practice, ur gonna slowly get used to the feel of the guitar.
depending on what style you play, if metal, probably the first thing you should get really good at is power chords, and then proceed to alternate strumming (gradually, and so on...)
you dont wake up one day, and suddenly become a god at guitar.
keep practicing,

1 month everyday and it's not getting easier: keep going for it, once you find the control you're a step closer again

don't forget, if you keep learning, you'll NEVER be able to do what you're learning immediatly the first time, that's why it's called learning.
Get some beginner lessons for a good technique to start with (VERY IMPORTANT!) and well, be careful what/how you practice, don't teach yourself the wrong techniques.
Also, starting with the right techniques might get you in a very comfortable spot for other techniques

This.

Ive been playing 8 years, and even though I would say Im far beyond
most guitar players, there always gonna be infinite amounts of tonal theories,
and techniques to learn.

If you are looking to get to a point where you feel amazing,
you should give up. You are always going to want to be better.

I remember the first few weeks I began playing I couldn't really play anything and had a lot of trouble playing very simple songs. However, after this time period I noticed I could do something I couldn't do before and I kept building off that until I could suddenly play all these songs I couldn't before. I basically just kept improving further and I now think I'm a little above average for how long I've been playing but I still know there is so much more to learn and that's what keeps me playing (that, and because it's fun). But yeah, you have to practice and practice to get anywhere.

Dont base your learning off of what you see others play, base it off what you played the day before

Time wise, I don't know. But I realised i was certainly a good guitarist when I could play Stairway, start to finish and have a complete solo in it.

I would say.... 5 years, which was how much time it took me to learn it properly, or get round to it should i say
