I'm wanting to take some beats and make remixes and mashups etc..
If anybody knows of a good software that will allow me to disect beats and lyrics, etc, post it up!

I don't really care if its freeware or have to pay for it.

E: What I really want to be able to do is take like a rap song, and remove the lyrics, be able to speed up or slow down the beat, and then maybe remove the beat from another song and put lyrics on the first beat..

Y! FL studio is good for beginers but its engine sucks haaard ... try steinberg family programs though not EZ to use

Because removing vocals from a song is something a professional has a hard time doing.

Yea they do. Its absolutely impossible to really do it unless its 100% center panned,
or you have the vocal track or background....

there are xxxxxxx acapellas free for download so shouldnt be a problem
