Vouch.

This is about all you CAN do with piano and playing by ear... In fact it's about all you can do to play by
ear regardless of what instrument you play. Turn on the song find the chord structure and work the melody
out from there. I don't play piano so this might be wrong but it's what I do for guitar.

well i see people do some crazy stuff with their left hand to match their right if you understand what that means.... like there's a certain way to make them compliment eachother, like a pattern or something... was hoping there's a site that teaches this.

From my understanding of piano your left hand would work as a bass would
in a band and your left hand would work as a guitar would in a band. For example
your right hand would be doing a bass line (not sure of the technical terms once again
I don't play piano) and your right hand would compliment that bass line with a melody.

I would still suggest finding the key and then finding the melody within the chord structure.

I could be talkin out me ass lol I dunno anything about piano.

You just need to know your chords and scales.

So C Major.

Left hands plays variants of C major chords while right hand plays variants of C major scales. (Not a whole scale, but bits and pieces)

i'm pretty sure it's the other way around... right hand plays the main stuff and left hand compliments it.

i think it depends on what side of your brain is solo and wich is tempo

like if your right handed maybe the left hand will solo
and w/e

thats what i think
