i have a shizzy trumpet atm, cant go above a D above the staff, but with a nice bach or xeno, i can ez get way up there, lol
i h8 it, and with this economy, car buisness ant gunna get me up there to get a new one.

i did for 5 years or so. id like to play again. i have an OK cornet I bought for more or less 1000$, Yamaha YCR2310-II

that is a good cornet... wtf u smokin, idk about the price tho.. u might have gotten jipped.(not sure cornet prices)

xeno is best one out there atm i THINK my director says to get one, but i cant afford nething over 20$ lolz
the one i have now is a standard (idk wtf its called) yamaha just a yamaha no name lol
it was used and has like 1000000 dents and dings up to 5 mm deep lol my second valve tube thing, is basiclly destroyed, my bell pipe etc, has so many dings, its miserable. lol still able to play tho

/* edit1- my trumpet doesnt even have a first valve trigger/kick out. and my 3rd valve is like its glued in, but once u have it out 5or so mm it goes ez lol, just cleaned it out with a water pick(a cheep ortho one) lol works better but still not near like new.

i would love to play trumpet

but two intruments i rly wanna learn first are the violin and the banjo

and for my first wind intrument id like to play somethin kinda soft
like a flute or somethin

imo, if u wanna start a wind instrument and play trumpet, (btw flute is hard to play in tune etc) imo start on trumpet, or alto sax. then upgrade after u learned to play a scale and basics lol
