Godin's aren't bad at all, but just not my type of guitar. They just seem to heavy, and do not fit my style. A friend of mine owns one and loves it's sound.
But if you tried it out for an hour or so and like the overall feeling, buy it ;)

It is a nice guitar, I tried one once and I was impressed by the neck, but I didn't like the way it was setup, probably the pickups or bridge was.

It has a great neck, if you like the feel of it.
It is heavier than most guitars, this didn't bother me, see how it feels with a strap.
Make sure you are comfortable with the bridge, and make sure this specific guitar stays in tune, as some less expensive trem bridges go out of tune easily.
Bring a friend who is familiar with guitars and amps to make sure you can get a tone you are happy with out of it.

Also, don't buy a Line 6 amp regardless of how hard the store employees push it on you, they're not as good as they say, and you can find tons of them used because so many people who bought them didn't like them.
