what acoustic electric guitar do you all recommend, I have never hd one so I am not sure..

i recommend Alverez or Martin

I will always recommend Taylor.
Martins arn't bad choices, but I personally am not a fan of the sound.

blueridge all the way. seagull are nice too. or if you got $3k buy a collings.

I have an alvarez also, I heavily vouch them, they are amazing for the price, try to stay away from one ones with laminated sides or tops.

alvarez not an american made guitar, so make sure it is made well (not just pretty). ofc there are great guitars made anywhere, you just got to know what to look for. bottom line if you want to spend money on a decent acoustic it must be solid top, back and sides. gl! folkofthewood.com is excellent for comparing models/brands (video demos of everything)
