ESP has a new 7 string King V shape. Seeing as its the only one of its kind, i like it even though its a sig series.

I really really like the Schecter Hellraiser 7-Strings. (About 900$)

I've heard really good things in regards to the Ibanez 7 strings as well.

I have the 6 string version of the Hellraiser and I'm not 100% sure if I'm a fan of it to be honest...

Amazing for dropped tunings but shitty clean sound and sometimes gets a little muddy when playing distorted.

Well EMGs will do that, :P.

I guess I should've said in the OP, my new guitar will be 100% for death metal and i plan on using lower tunings

ESP/LTD Stephen Carpenter 7string sig.
Ibanez too are quite good.

ESP got a new Horizon 7string coming out, it's going to be a fucking beast, but surely more pricey than 1000 ;)\

But yeah.. That's all I can think off.. Esp and Ibanez. Maybe Schecter too.

Then the EMGs will fit better imo. I actually prefer seymour duncans for heavy stuff. But if you're gunna play any lower than drop D or C, and for pure metal. EMGs are probably best.
I actually used to have one of those hellraisers, they really are good guitars. I played it through a mesa dual rectifier roadster. and it was sick in droped tunings.

i played a schecter and it had the shittiest sounding distortion ever. really muddy and bland, it was probably a cheaper model but BLEH
