this is my first real attempt at an hour long 'megamix' using ableton. before i picked up real mixing equipment, i used to do mixes/compilations and send them out to friends. they were usually just whatever tracks i could get a hold of (mind you, these were before i actually followed edm actively), and thrown together. though the mixing in those were less than pleasing on the ears, they always seemed to carry a great energy - as do professional megamixes such as the ASOT yearmix compilations. so, i decided to return to my original roots with this one, mixing together tracks in software. admittedly, i could have spent more time on this, especially the second half of it. i'm still happy with the final outcome though!

this is actually my first mix with ableton live and it probably shows especially in the latter half. for the past 6 months or so all my mixes have been done with my pioneer cdj800mk2s/djm400/traktor scratch pro. before that, i just used some sketchy programs to throw mp3s together lol

do you produce any music yourself to or?

not yet. i'm still learning to produce, and i'm aiming to have constructed a full song that atleast has a full range of sound by the end of summer :P!

I disagree. Seeing as you don't deserve any credit at all for the work of someone else, the only way to possibly give them the appropriate amount of credit would be to stop putting your name on it at all.
