any thought on that? my friend wants to sell me his for 275$, the thing is, idk anything about guits, its going to be my first guit ever..

If you do buy it you'll probably wanna take it in to your local music store and get it set up.
I have a Jackson Rhoads RR1 and I love it, not to sure what the Dk2 is like but i'll have a look
around and ask some people see what people say about it.

I did a little searching, no one I know own's one but it did get decent reviews from around the web.

Overall it doesn't look like a terrible starter guitar bro. And I'd bargain it down to like 250, seeing as it is pretty old.

I played alot a jacksons and only a few disapointed me.. dk2's seem pretty good as a starter guitar imo

i'm not a fan of jacksons and would never buy one...but it is probably an ok starter guitar.

the pickups are shit

My buddy uses a Jackson USA soloist. It's made in Japan, so it has a bolt on neck, instead of being a one piece. Idk about the Dk2's but the Soloist is a great guitar.
