I don't think it is. If it is what I think it is, it's an old solid state amp from the 1970's. this would mean that no, it's not very good. I could be wrong, though.

I'm not really sure but peavey popped in my head when i heard stage 65 lol, it probably isn't though. I would guess it is solid state also since i've never heard of it

Could it have been because peavey makes the 6505, which was a replacement for EVH's 5150?
