Okay, so I started out about 1.25 years ago with an electric guitar, and almost exactly 1 month ago I got an Ibanez AEL20 acoustic -- now I can play it just fine (and im like addicted now, for the past month I've been playing for almost 3 hours a day minimum >.>;) and I can bar the strings fine, but when it comes to playing like more than 5 or 6 consecutive bar chords my left hand gets really tired and then I end up not being able to fully bar every string.
I'm just wondering, is it just me? Because when I go back to my electric guitar, its like butter to play... it feels so easy, especially since it has a lower action, slimmer neck and its especially easy to press down on the frets now. The only reason I'm suspecting the problem lies with me and not my guitar is because I don't have a problem playing any other types of chords or notes... and if it is me, anyone wanna suggest a good way to build that kind of finger strength?
Electric guitars are smaller.
Nuff said.
