pretty much all entry level stuff is shit, but if you have 600-700$ to shell out, get an Ibanez or Schecter.

Just bought a XPT700FX Ibanez Xiphos, fucking amazing guitar.

As for online sites, I'm not sure if Musician's Friend caters to Canadia, but you can check

well i'm gonna make about $200 this summer and i already got 100 any thing half good i could get?

For 200, you aren't looking at much. If you want an amp and a guitar, you are basically limited to a guitar/amp combo pack. An Ibanez pack wouldn't be terrible, but it won't be anything amazing.

You could try to look on the used market for a guitar, you might be able to find a 200-300 dollar Ibanez for 100-150. The lower end models don't have a great resale value.

Regardless of your axe, you will likely end up with a small practice amp, which is fine for now. I wouldn't recommend buying a larger amp until you are ready to shell out the cash for one.

Peavey vypyr will be the best amp you can get.

I suggest getting the 30 watt because the speaker in the 15 watt sucks. However you would need to save more money for your guitar. You can look at the ibanez RG series, they are good.
