I hear Boss DS-1 Distortion is good for a wide range of sounds. Any others you guys recommend?

blink 182 uses the softest, least offensive distortion you can find. dont tailor your sound to these morons. Boss DS-1 is a great pedal, look on the back and find one made in Korea, not Mexico, there is a slight difference in quality/sound im told.

Pop-punk isnt made up, its a real genre... its shit like Blink 182, All American Rejects, Fall out Boy, Sum 41 ,etc.

pop punk is one giant cliche/catch-22. the definition of punk rock is the exact opposite of blink-182. i think they are disgusting in principle.

you dont need a distortion pedal to sound like blink 182

just put your settings like this

Low: 0
Mid: 0
High: 0
Gain: 0
Volume: 0

Then proceed to the music store and buy some different music.
