So what do i do

?
practice more?
Drink something? like warm milk? tea?
help

Mkay, if you are singing as a career and doing it more than once a day for an hour or more, then you need to drink shit loads of water and have a healthy diet.
Also, you HAVE to warm up. THis is not up for discussion, warm up properly or loose your voice.
Also, find a singing teacher who knows about the "mix voice" and learn how to do it. I didn't know about this technique till about 9 months ago, and with practise, i managed to sing a Top C without feeling any sort of strain on my vocal chords at all!
Good luck

being a person who is going to go to school for musical theatre..
here's what you need to do....
When approaching high notes
you need to sing from your nose, Literally.
Have you ever heard someone do a mocking voice and go "na na na na na na"?
basically just talk really nasally like a nerd would and when you approach high notes sing from your nerdy nose voice and you'll be able to hit them easily.
idk if you get it, i could make a youtube video to show you if you dont get it.
Thats sort of right, but the whole sing from your nose is wrong man. I see what you mean, but bad way of explaining it.
I'll see if i can get hold of a video for vocal training techniques.
PS - This guy knows mix voice, Musical Theatre FTW!! Springtime For Hitler man, sing that in mix
