I used to play a little guitar a while back, but nothing major. Pretty much like smoke on the water, iron man, that shit...I dont know where to start..I have a Fender Squire strat. I use ultimate-guitar.com for tabs...also my guitar is so out of tune its unfunny. I have this red light tuner thing but its not that good, anyone else have a good way to tune?

You can buy some cheap 10 dollar electric tuner from guitarcenter.com....I've never really seen one that didn't do the job.

Or you could just look up on ultimate-guitar.com how to tune by ear.

your tuner may be ok, you just don't know how to use it. do you know someone who plays the guitar who could help ?

yeah i know that stuff...I just suck balls atm. I know I need to practice but I just cant seem to make things sounds like good...idk hard to explain.

Might be your intonation. If you fucked around with the neck too much and messed it up, you may be screwed.

there's free guitar tuners in the internet. try googling em. you just meed a microphone, even a headset goes.
