at school we use garage band (i know it sucks) and cubase

is there anything like that for pc? preferably cheap? i think i can reason of my mate but maybe any others?

Cubase is good for PC, that's what I'm currently running.

Audacity won't get you THAT far, but it's pretty easy to use. Just download it and install, that's how.

k thanks, i just tried audactiy and its really easy to use
but im gonna try and get better with n-track cos it looks like i can do more stuff with it
