Hi!

I've found a used Ibanez Destroyer DT-420 original japan axe for $500. it has Gotoh keys; Edge satus tremolo; Ibz V1 and V2 pickups. black. i this worth it?
my 2nd option is a platinum series bc rich with original floyd rose and bdsm humbuckers for $650, but its new.

Which would be better and why?

Look around more. Plenty of great axes in the 450-700 price range

thx guys for the replies:) if there are so many better options id like hear some concrete advises pretty much, honestly i cant get my hands on EVERYTHING here in Hungary (sigh), this 2 is the best ive found in the past few months. Anyway some concrete advises would be nice!:) thx

Personally I don't really like them. Sure they look cool, but you're going to have to change out the stock pickups if you value tone whatsoever. Schecter has some really nice guitars in the 500-700$ range.

very nice tone if you ask me

I'll be getting a Schecter V1 soon, its about 600$ without trem. But depending on your location and tastes, take what you can get I guess

well i was sure that i will have to change my pickups, but with e.g a seymour pickup set they both will sound too cool not just look.
my only confusion now is that what differences do the tremolos have on those 2 guitars, if there are any except the brand?

edge or floyds?

1 of my m8 told me that edge intonates much less the guitar when you use the tremolos, is that true?

p.s. im seeking schecters on the web maybe i find somthing cool here:) (thx)
