so this seems kinda fake, but thats just me

most likely fake. a friend of my parents paid $5,000 american for a "Gibson Mastertone Banjo". he took it in to have it looked at and the luthier determined it was a very well made knock-off. after the experience the friend had i would never buy any instrument without playing it first. with violins many of them say stradaverius (and are definately not), but can still be worth $10k.

edit: i paid $700 knowingly for a chinese acoustic (blueridge br-160). best money i ever spent on a guitar. so dont knock china's guitar building abilities!

Theres no way this can be for real, there is too much money in Gibson for someone to be selling it at that low of a price imo.

If you look at the rest of the products they are selling, everything is low. They are selling a 50'' plasma flat screen for €500, and they have ESP's and Jacksons for €200. The website doesn't have enough info for it to be legit, but it's tempting xD

There are tons of these.

Some guys @ the Harmony central forums own these they look nice play like shit and sound like shit too.

imo gibson has expanded to such an unmanageable level that they have no customer relation. they have a bitching sales department of course... anyways you can find much better electric or acoustic from experienced, private builders if you are willing to pay a little more. with private builders they will invite you over for coffee and check back with you every couple years. i deal with these kind of people instead. plus gibson outsources work every chance they get.

but you should know -i own a gibson and will never sell it.
