I play a 1947 Conn 6m "Naked Lady" alto saxophone! (serial 319ish)

Has original sound and very sexy vibrato when long, deep tones are played...I just love to play her!

Alright all you saxos out there, post your stuff!!!

No one plays sax on jsp..... You sax sounds beautiful!

check the musicians forum the post about where people play their instruments there are like 3 or 4

i play sax i can play three of the 4 kinds of sax for that matter

and kenny g ,, is like my fav sax player

I have an eFlat Alto. Don't know much more about it than that. Played it for four years though.

lol same here except i've played almost 5.
mine is a beat up piece of crap, buy to rent thing. i've played on a few different saxes, and i really don't like the one i have . also played tenor for a few months, i like it a little better than alto

I had the same alto for about 3ish years but switched to tenor and had that one for the rest of the time till i was a senior in high school i loved it i was the only one with a white mouth piece and was also first chair so it looked cool.
Some of my fav pieces to play were Spain and Birdland, salt peanuts was always fun when we had to shout.

I was privileged to go to a Jazz camp in Monterrey where I was later recommended by Paul contos (very big sax player here in cali, very nice guy I was so grateful to be able to work with him a couple of times a yr) for the California Honor Band as an Alternate, i was so pissed when no one got sick lol, i wasnt able to go to Japan to tour with them that yr

i play a £2000 Yanagisawa tenor saxophone, lovely tune and deep notes. with my yamaha custom mouthpiece its the shit! 3 1/2 rico royals keep it vibrating all day long!

Im gonna purchase a jazz mouthpiece soon. the ones with the big ass gap so u have to go at least 1 reed strength down should sound shnazzy!
