There's probably someone better to learn it from besides that lush.

So are you talking like full scale runs with both hands.

So for instance like (just chromatics)

A:--------------12345678
E:-12345678

Like.. 1234 left hand 5678 right hand.

All hammer's and or pull offs if reversed.

That isn't a very good way to start tapping.

Just watch a tutorial on youtube, there are millions of them. The only really difficult thing about tapping is learning to keep an even rhythm between both hands. Also, tapping with multiple fingers on your right hand can be difficult.

Yes, that can be extremely difficult. I don't reccomend it for beginners.

Learning chromatics with your right hand would probably be the easiest way to learn and then spread to actual scales.

And rolls on your right hand aren't that hard for that style of taping. They're are other techniques.. I was just wondering what he was trying to learn exactly.

an easyintro to tapping is this order of frets on all the strings --- 0 5 7 12 , you can go up and down the strings and when you can do that comfortably, change a note in the sequence, -- 0 4 7 12 0 5 7 12 etc.

make stuff up with those notes and moving up and down strings and you'll be on your way to tapping quickly. (edit: 12th fret is tapped if that was vague)

12------5-----7-----12---------5-------7-------12------5------7

Tap the 12th fret on the High E with your right index finger, and have your left hand index finger on the 5th fret and hammer the 7th fret with your left hand middle finger.

That's tapping. Keep doing that until you can get some speed, then look at other places you can play this. You can also do the exact same tapping with :

15------12----14------15-------12-------14
