Dear sweet mother of Odin it was horrible.
Alright, so I'm playing, and I go to hit my whammy bar, and the screw holding the bar in place FALLS the FUCK out of the back, all I hear is this * Dink * as it hits the back of my guitars panel. So I'm thinking, whatever, this won't take long to open up the back and put it back in. WRONG. WRONG. First, I unscrewed the panel to get to it, but I couldn't get the panel to open without prying it from underneath. In order to do that, I had to open up the second back panel to get a good reach under it ( This took roughly 20 minutes mind you, the screws on the second panel are all fucked up ) so after I get it open, I look in horror at what I have to do.
The whammy's springs are taking up 9/10th's the space back there. The actual hole for the whammy bar's screw is in this 1'' wide crevice. So, my hand being far too large to fit in there, I have to do the whole procedure with needle nose players, and a skinny screwdriver to help shove pieces around. It took me another half an hour JUST to get the screw in place, and put it back in, and then another 10 minutes to close it back up.
It took an hour, to put in a god damn screw.
