Alright so I'm a big fan of 60s/70s music and almost exclusively listen to those. Here's a good example to all the music I listen to:

The Beatles
The Who
John Lennon
George Harrison
Pink Floyd
King Crimson
David Bowie
Jimi Hendrix
James Taylor
Neil Young
Bob Dylan
Harry Chapin
Simon & Garfunkel
The Doors
Cat Stevens

These are in no specific order, I love them all equally, and these are probably the only bands/artists that I listen to with very few exceptions: which is my problem. I've heard almost all of the work of these and I want to be introduced to different bands/artists that have the same type of music and influence. It can be new or old, as long as they are solid, meaning not having only a few good hit singles, but great music throughout albums.

Suggest away!
