Hey I'm looking to buy a mic and other audio devices i need to get a nice quality sound recording on my computer, any suggestions?

i recommend condensor mic even for vocals. cost about $100 for a cheap one. or go for a ribbon mic, those are goin cheap nowdays. you will also need a preamp to regulate mic levels properly and a board (or preamp) that runs phantom power (most do).

Most mics works fine.

the problems starts with your room.

first off all you will have alot of interferance. electrical and stuff that the mic will pick up.

your soundcard should also be quite good to get any good quality on the sound.

and good wires! icon_pointl.gif most important thing
