Epiphone makes decent guitars in your price range. Also some of the LTDs and Schecters if you're willing to spend a bit more than 300.

i was especially looking at epiphone and ltd.

Take a look at the Goth Les Paul, G-400 SG, or the SG-310. Decent for rock and very cheap.

- A Stratocaster (Mexico or if you can find 2. hand Japan)
- Maybe an Epi
- My option is try too much 2. hand guitar and buy what you like

wow man my Dad is a dick.
he wont let me buy a guitar on my own.
he keeps wanting to bring my fuckin teacher but the last time we brought my teachjer to choose a pedal, he picked this wylde pedal that was shit on distortion cuz it was for pre distorted amps.

sry, i dont buy from eebay.
im going to long and mcquade's for my guitar.
im gonna get a cheap epiphone but my dad is cheap and keeps buying these fuck sticks off his friends for me to play.

Get a strat. Spend more than a couple hundred if you want a nice guitar though.
