I'm not sure my opinion would be quite so... brutal, but I do agree to some extent. Hiphop for the most part seems to be lacking an tremendous amount of talent. Sure the singers can sing well, and the guitarists, and drums are pretty decent, but there is rarely any true harmony, and the melodies are always relatively simple. The structure of most hiphop songs are bland and boring - verse, refrain, verse, refrain, refrain, or something like that, and I find there's never anything to show off the talent of any other members of the band. No guitar or drum solos, or any instrunmental breaks at all. It's always seemed to be a very simple and "uneducated" style of music. Sorry for the random opinion

its good you're promoting a better style of hip hop, lately its been crap like soulja boy or other dumb rap stuff. Old stuff 10x better
