Alright guays so I've been playing for about 3 years on and off, on again smile.gifsmile.gif. Anyways, I'm just asking about how you guys sing and play at the same time?

I can never do that, I will mess up the beat of my playing.

My question is, is there anything I can do to imrpove my sync of singing and playing at the right times?

It's practice, isn't it tongue.gif?

Should it be sweeps, singing while playing, composing songs, shredding, EVERYTHING is about practice.

Have GP5 or Power Tab? Or just a metronome.

If so, just take a song you wanna learn (which has shred since that's what you wanna learn) and just play it really slow to begin with. When you nail it pretty much perfectly, raise the tempo up a bit, and do the same thing until you reach the normal tempo of the song. And when you think that's too easy, take on harder ones biggrin.gif

Hmm I can just look at the tab for, lets say, metallica -- fade to black. Where can I get GP5 though? It would probably help a lot more. Does it cost any money?

Thanks for your help.

GP5 is a software that you have to buy. You can get an illegal crack on limewire though (watch out for trojan/viruses, scan every single one of them).

Power Tab is a freeware though, so it's free biggrin.gif
