I once accidently downloaded one of his albums, not really my music
He wrote House of the rising sun ? I though The Animals did that..

midnight speacial was preformed by creedence clearwater revival, in the pines was performed by nirvana on there unplugged peacial on mtv, house of the rising sun was preformed by the animals (as u stated), and black betty was performed by ram jam

leadbelly predates all of these bands by like 30 years. he is not a blues singer tho. he is pure folk and happens to be black.

goodnight irene's a good one.
duncan and brady is the best leadbelly song ive heard tho.

i know it does i was just giving people an example of how influencial he was
