Mkay here is an example.
You are playing a pentatonic, and you miss a note and it throws your concentration and you forget where you are. A nightmare, but easy to cover.
There are lots of things you can do.
Pickslide
Throw the guitar at someone
Stomp an effect
Play something to improvise
Restart the phrase
Skip the phrase and move to the next part
Play rhythm part
- Continue with the song
- Don't Panic
I find if you make a mistake on drums its alot easyer to cover up.
Well I do, I just turn it either into a roll or if its a bad fuck up I stop count the rest of the beats then kick into the next part.
Guitars are easy to cover up. Drums are way to obvious lol.
It is perticualy Scarey live when you fuck up. but just keep your head on tight and bite the bullet.
