When doing a sweep involving more than one of the same fret on different strings, is there any specific way to roll your finger across? I find it difficult to do the A Minor Arpeggio fast because of the same-fret roll you have to do. Post your technique for doing such things if you have any tips for me, thanks.

I found that for sweeps involving the same fret a string or two up, borrowing the finger motion from string skipping helped a lot. The tricky part is separating that finger from the other 3, especially since the little "cheat" so to speak sorta breaks up the fluidity of the sweep. If you can keep time well enough and recover fast enough you could also tap the note a string down with your pinky, though that would MAJORLY break picking rhythm. Sometimes I do it anyway to add a note if it sounds cool, though that's straying a bit off topic. Lemme know how it works for you though.

Just keep practicing the rolling, you will eventually get em down.

i just started learning this type of stuff so i'm not that clear about it tho
