Alright, here's something I hate. Most of you have heard of Basshunter, and his songs Boten Anna / the DotA song.
Both songs in swedish, not being so attractive to people from other countries.

Now I have nothing wrong with someone translating their songs, but using the same beat for a completely different song is just wrong, if you ask me.

Basshunter has used the same beat from Boten Anna in Now you're gone. Two songs with completely different meanings, yet the same beat.
He has also used the beat from the DotA song in All I ever wanted. Again, two songs with completely different meanings, yet same beat.

What do you guys think about artists using their old beat in new songs? Is it wrong, or is it smart?

Perhaps not a copycat, since it's his own beats, but still. You shouldn't use your old beats in new songs mad1.gif
