Yeah man, I'd highly recommend getting out there and trying it. Not to sure if I'm ready to cough up the 2400 bucks yet but
messing around with the amp head I got several tones I liked within a couple minutes.

I personally wouldn't buy it because i'm not in a metal band at the moment, but If I still was it'd be mine >: D

I'm a big fan of my Boss Metalzone MT-2.

Not a lot of people are a fan of pedals, but when you're looking for a decent pedal for metal music with a
decent amount of customibility in regards to your sound then I'd say go with something like that. We have a
place here in Edmonton called "Mother's Music" and they have a room with all the pedals they sell and a small
practice amp so you can try all the pedals out. Kinda cool when you're looking to buy.

I have a BOSS Mega Distortion 2 (MD-2) pedal and it sounds pretty good out of my Fender amp (tubes) and doesn't generate too much feedback with the distortion/gain controls turned all the way up. As far as I know this pedal has mixed reviews amongst buyers but I would say it was worth the money.
