fag

Autosquelched. I've already mentioned more genres than that, and you're the one attacking metal, so expect to get kicked in the teeth. Oh, and name-calling is about as mature as throwing cow pies.

you know, im into progressive, rock...i love that kind of stuff

but people who say rap isnt music are plain retarded...i dont care who you are.

i dont like rap, but i respect it...rap came from rock..ive taken rock history class...and you learn how all music is related...even though you dont like a certain style, you learn how it effects your favorite musics

btw...the studio work that goes into rap and hip hop is insane...its way more work than any rock or metal out there...thats a talent on its own...if rap was so easy, then everyone would be a millionaire rapper

You've never seen what goes into the average power metal/symphonic rock or metal album, have you? Between recording umpteen instruments and then cleaning the noise off everything, that alone requires a team of Tagtgrens. Also note, I make a distinction between rap and hip-hop. Hip-hop actually has some intrinsic musical value to it.

Also, as for the terror twins of Maiden, it's a hard call which sound I like better : Smith and Murray, or Smith, Murray, and Gers. The extra layer of guitars sounds fucking epic.

EDIT : Almost forgot, Michael Romero...the only other guy doing 8 finger sweeps. Godly.

Where kirk cobain?
And I saw Eric In the airport in France XD

he is dead, haven't you heard?

Seriously though, I'm surrounded by people who worship Kurt Cobain.
As a musician he wasn't very special. He could write popular music that struck a chord with people, but he wasn't a very good singer or guitar player.

Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Jerry Cantrell & Eddy Vedder all out shined him on vocals.
Jerry Cantrell, Kim Thayil, and Mike McCready were all much better guitar players.

I think with that said it is pretty obvious where I live. Kurt Cobain & Nirvana are overrated. They are far from bad, but they are not gods.

Just to mention a few:

-Jeff Loomis
-Jari Maenpää
-Alexi Laiho
-David Gilmour
-Steve Morse

etcetc, The list goes on and on. biggrin.gif
