You see, I have this friend. He intentionally is blatantly ignorant to get a rise out of people. As a joke. I think it's funny. But even funnier is that same mentality, only being serious. That just tickles my pickle in sooo many ways because if you truly are 22 years old, you have a lot of maturing to do. Because I've met 7 year olds who have a better concept of logic than you. Now gogogo, reply with you childish sarcasm like a good girl. I'm going to bed.
Really? Direct me to my misuse of logic. I'm all for being constructive and having adult conversations, but you people are completely an absolutely incapable of doing it.
You claimed that music is pleasing to the ears for specific reasons. Your argument thereafter was "V likes to go to I" and some obscure article about babies hearing beats. Your conclusion doesn't follow your premises.
Premise 1: Music is pleasing to the ears for specific reason
Premise 2: [insert guitarists] have a vast understanding of the instrument
Conclusion: Which means they understand harmony better than 99.999% of the planet
If you want to talk about logic. There's an unsound argument for you right there! Not to mention you attempt to qualify "bad music", and then claim there is no "good" or 'bad" immediately afterwards. You trippin' son.
I think what you were trying to say is that our western perception of music is highly based on the overtone series, and how agreeable the resulting music is with it. Unfortunately, that doesn't even give the slightest insight into what makes something good or bad in any way.
