is this also for a cab? or do you have one?
if no cab, and you want versatility with good gain the Carvin V3 will probably be your best bet without breaking the bank.
I own it and it has so many tones i cant decided what i want to keep on the channels. It has 2 identical gain channels and a clean channel. The two gain channels have 3 different gain modes and the clean channel has 3 different clean modes. Each channel also has a switch to expand the EQ range to make more drastic eq changes and each channel has independent eq as well as a master eq.
i've read about the v3, and i love the legacys. i think i'm either gonna get a legacy or a v3. i've been looking for something new so i don't have to worry about problems. i was bidding on eebay on like busted up jcm800s and 5150s, and although they're killer amps, i want it to be like new and nice and clean haha. i've only played the legacy for a little bit, but i really liked it. there's no way for me to test the v3, which kinda sucks. idk, i've half wanted a carvin for a while. they're really underated. mesas are nice, but i'm not daddy warbucks
