Why would you ever want a 400 watt amp.....and are you talking about that one line 6?

Save yourself the trouble, get a 50/100 watt tube stack. Once you got tube you never go back.

umm i have a line6 thats 200 watts and has a tube preamp sounds really good.. also have an old fender princton chrous that has awesome tone..

why use a stack when a combo is easiler to carry and has great tone?

What? I understand for a tiny amplifier a combo is really easy to carry. But carrying a high end combo is fucking insane! My Carvin v3 head is pretty heavy, i cant imagine how much it would be to carry the head + 2 speakers. Carrying a stack is a little bit more of a hassle because of its bigger size, but the projection it allows is much much better than a combo. As well as the fact that the weight is divided into to parts so it can be carried separately. Not to mention the ability to switch things up biggrin.gif

99% of all the shows anyone plays are mic'd, so you don't get all this "projection"

Squier by Fender Deluxe Stratocaster. The amp is a Peavey MAX 126 BASS amp. I don't have an electric amp >.< Oh if anyone knows what settings I should put on the bass amp to make it sound a little better >.<
