Oh, but I do have respect, but for those who deserve it. And you do deserve my respect, it's just that if you start bashing way too seriously because of a troll-comment, it's not even fun anymore.

Seriously, just stop posting.

EDIT: You've been lurking this thread for over 5 minutes. Shouldn't you just give up if it actually takes you this long to come up with a semi-witty comeback?

Smooth dodge, bro. But hey, stuff like this happens :)

You told me to stop posting than tell me to give up actually coming for a comeback because I "lurk over 5 minutes to come up with a semi-witty comeback"? Nice contradiction right there.

/EDIT: By the way, I was away from keyboard. You know, doing things that are more important than replying to a pathetic person. I've never seen you in musician's chat, yet you try to come and bash on me?

Pathetic.

Also, the fact you actually took the time to private message me is very sad.

Okay, to get this thread back on track, I have quite a few favorites.

For a heavy, heavy drummer, I have to go with Raymond Herrera. Love the quick double-bass.
As a technical standpoint goes, definitely Danny Carey. i wonder sometimes if he's even human.
Finally, as a hybrid of the two - heavy/technique - goes to "Atomic Clock" Gene Hoglan.

I guess my job is done here.
Also, you people take trolls way too seriously, learn not to feed them and start ignoring.

I think I'll have to stop in this section or else it'll turn to chaos, and I wouldn't want that as it's pretty much the only section on jsp I still spend time in.

Not really, no.

Your definition of the word 'troll' is skewed.

im surprised no one mentioned mike portnoy as a drummer.

I love his playing style, while i am no drummer by any means, I really like the way he blends the percussion with the song.

btw, I never like travis barker either until i watched the new "stairway to heaven" cover with him as the drummer, steve vai as the guitar player, mary j blige as the singer, and randy jackson as the bassist. They all had amazing things to say about him, and that opened up my eyes. His blink182 stuff is NOT impressive (to me) but his other stuff (if you search him) is really cool.

I still think mike portnoy comes on top, but dream theater is my favorite band of all time, so im biased

Too right lol, even I overlooked it. My only defense is i don't like Dream Theater, their music just pisses me off.

But, i have the utmost respect for the awesome musicians they all are, not including the singer because he's fucking shit and should be replaced by Tim Ripper Owens. Only then will I like DT
