Got a new electric song up...i think the vocals suck and they will be redo, but what do you think of the guitar?

get a condensor or ribbon mic please.... also rely more on the music not always the lyrics... get some effects on the voice sound too much a lil kid sorry. not always a fan of this type of music. get a happy song : )

not really man, it takes a little bit of practice -- but just sit down and listen to what you're playing. Harmonize with it, don't just sing over it -- the best way to figure out a good tune for the song is to just sit there and listen to it and hum along with it. Well thats how I do it anyways, and its worked out for me.

If you're more of an instrument person, imagine you're solo'ing over the whole song -- take a section from it and you can pretty much turn that tune into your main chorus.

Remember to record yourself so you don't forget any revelations ;)

Now those are words of wisdom. I wish i had recording equipment at my disposal at all times. I have to use other peoples stuff to record. Kind of a bummer huh? Ive gotten this far but i need more practice. Ive got a show this Saturday....wish me luck ive got the set list made out....

haha thanks, but they're really just something I picked up over the years while trying to ease the process for myself. good luck at that gig, you'll do fine.

Anyways, just remember, practice for a song isn't complete until you're not thinking about what you're saying anymore -- your mouth just moves automatically and all you're thinking in your head is that you're going with the music. You know that happens when you find yourself performing at a concert and not even remembering singing lol.

ive noticed that when that happens the song is always 10x better. practice practice practice.
