I'm not learning on internet,
I have the song memorized.
My ear is very good.
Although I'm 14, ever since I was taking Piano at the age of 8, I memorized all my songs since it was hard to read the tabs.

Hmm I think tabs are easier, but I also can do everything by ear. MY uncle is the same way you are..started with piano and then went to guitar and just plays by ear, doesn't feel the need or want to learn tabs.

Alright... me and you alone have taken up 3 pages of this thread.
Please... let's keep everything to PMs.
I'm using this as a guitar lesson journal.

I learned a new scale today.
The A minor with 3 notes per string.
Continued playing Rock the Night by Europe.

If you wanna learn another new scale, try out the harmonic minor. Just raise the 7th note in a natural (Aeolian) scale.

Ex: A harmonic minor: A B C D E F G# A

If you want a really sweet scale try the whole tone scale (whole tone between each note), such as C, D, E, F#, G#, A#. It's atonal, though, so you're only likely to use it in jazz.

Diminished scales are cooler!
