Just get it, Jason. Also: ignore the haters; I know you're a good musician.

sounds like your really saying everything you haven't learned already is just to hard for you. thats to bad. with some time and dedication I'm sure you could you could improve far beyond what you thought you were capable off.

as long as your content however, i shouldn't judge.

also the question was not about the game. it wouldn't be to much to assume that i own that already. it was about the guitar.

guitars are typically used by musicians. there for I'm in the right sub-forum.

to every one who actually contributed to my questioned and/or answered it with there own opinions i think you. i will remember each of you as i make my decision.

Not really, the only thing I have to learn would be theory, but that doesn't interest me. As far as technical aspects go, I basically know them all and the only thing needed would be to improve, but like I said I don't dedicate my full time on guitar since it's only a hobby.

Seems like you know nothing about what a "hobby" is.

I can't speak much for guitar, however Rockband Drums are exactly like playing a real kit. It teaches basic rudiments, timing, co-ordination, and builds endurance. There is not one part of Rock Band Drums that ISN'T like playing the real thing.

I started playing Rockband on easy, slowly moved up to expert, and eventually bought a real kit. I am now a better drummer than most people will ever be, and it's all because of a 'game'.

Well, playing rockband guitar is absolutely nothing like real guitar.
Playing rockband drums is more similar to real drums, but still isn't even close...
I suppose you could learn basic drumming skills from the game but I doubt anything substantial.
